PORTFOLIO // Posters + Signage
Terrapin Station Posters
Terrapin Station, an eclectic shop in Buffalo, New York, teamed up with local radio station 107.7 The Lake to promote Grateful Dead and Furthur concert-related giveaways. The eye-catching, psychedelic-themed posters capture the essence of the Dead (and Furthur, a band featuring Dead members).
Lerner College Signage
A massive and modern sign installation in Alfred Lerner Hall, the center of University of Delaware’s Alfred Lerner College of Business & Economics, included over 20 separate floating printed plexiglass signs and 3D raised metallic logos. The installation instantly modernized the building and created consistency in signage.
Networking Night Poster
A night for students to meet potential future employers demanded a poster design that reflected the concept of networking. An earlier version was text-heavy and dull. I used neural imagery to represent networking and paired it with bold type and bright colors, which modernized the new poster.
Fighting Gravity Poster
As Virginia-based band Fighting Gravity embarked on a tour in support of their first major-label release, they needed a poster which could work double duty: as an item to sell at shows and as a piece to promote upcoming gigs, with space to write in performance location, date, and time. This poster design also utilizes a logo I created for FG.
Psychology of Food Poster
College students are bombarded with messaging throughout a normal day, so a poster advertising a winter session class about the psychology of food needed to grab their attention. I took a humorous approach and used bright colors to help this piece stand out in a sea of bulletin board ads.
Tech Deck Signage
Lerner College’s growing technology support program, Tech Deck, needed a more prominent visual presence in Purnell Hall, where Tech Deck is housed. A fresh logo, directional signage, informational signage, and a 3D installation successfully promoted this resource to faculty, staff, and students.
B101.5 Kids Convention Billboard
Virginia radio station B101.5 (WBQB-FM) holds a yearly signature event, Kids Convention, which attracts families from across the state. The star attraction of this particular Kids Convention, a massive mobile aquarium with live sharks, made for compelling advertising, including this billboard, which features eye-catching imagery, bright colors, and minimal text.
Warm 98.5 Station Vehicle Wrap
A new Warm 98.5 logo meant the need for a new vehicle wrap, an important part of branding since the vehicle acts as a moving billboard, highly visible in traffic and at events. The vibrant colors and background imagery are hard to miss when Warm 98.5 is out and about in the Cincinnati area.
