Minus vows
Multiplied by tangential betrayal
Carry the grief
Subtract the trust
Increase the scapegoatery
Divide the family
Add lies
And red flags
And gaslighting

It equals nothing
It equals less than nothing
It equals loss

But this equation can not
Will not
Contain me
Define me
To some I am nothing
But I am the sum of my parts
And part of something larger
And I have a life to live yet
